OUR SERVICES

Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S) is a colorless, flammable, poisonous, and corrosive gas produced through the microbial breakdown of organic materials in oxygen-deprived environments. Commonly known as sour gas or stink gas due to its odor resembling rotten eggs, H2S is highly toxic even at low concentrations. While the human nose can detect its smell, at higher levels, it impairs cellular respiration and paralyzes olfactory nerves, leading to loss of smell. Concentrations exceeding 1000 ppm can be immediately lethal. Early monitoring and detection of H2S are critical for preventing catastrophic outcomes, making it vital in ensuring safety in various industries.
As technology enables deeper drilling in remote areas for oil, gas, and geothermal energy, the risk of encountering hazardous environments, particularly H2S gas, increases. Pandu Selamat Utama understands these challenges and has been dedicated to providing our clients with durable, reliable, and cost-effective equipment and service solutions. Breathing Air (BA) cylinders require routine retesting every 3-5 years, varying based on factors like cylinder type, material of consturction, origin country, and OH&S standards. Pandu is equipped to conduct these tests and provide certifications compliant with Indonesian regulations (Department Tenaga Kerja). Our ISO9001:2015 certified refilling facilities ensure pure breathing air and can refill cylinders up to 4,000 psi. For projects requiring high volumes of breathing air, we offer on-site facilities and supervision.
Additionally, Pandu offers testing for Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA), identifying potential leaks in masks or line systems. Our test facilities use SCBA flow test devices approved for US government-mandated annual SCBA functional flow testing, and we issue certificates for SCBA testing.

Calibration of single and multi gas detectors, along with fixed gas monitoring systems, is crucial to ensure their accuracy against certified standards and to maintain sensor sensitivity, ultimately prolonging sensor life. Pandu offers comprehensive calibration services for major brands of detectors and monitoring systems. These calibrations can be arranged either at our testing facility or at our customers’ locations, with certificates of calibration provided upon completion.
Additionally, as the authorized agent for maintenance and service, Pandu offers routine servicing for gas detectors and fixed gas monitoring systems. We highly recommend a monthly service, encompassing calibration, sensor expiry checks, filter replacements, battery inspections, and other functional tests.
